Amazon sells its own products but also lets people like you and I to sell products on the site.
I just love it when friends say, “isn’t Amazon just for books?”
I bought a new lawnmower from Amazon and it arrived in two days with free shipping. So no, it’s not just for books.
It’s the world’s largest marketplace, and has an eye towards making things easy for the customer: 1-Click Checkout, Amazon Prime (Free, 2-day shipping), and much more.
Amazon provides the chance for everyday people to build a business selling on their site with services like Fulfillment by Amazon (you ship your products in bulk to Amazon, and Amazon takes care of shipping the individual orders to buyers). It’s what I’ve used to build a business from scratch selling products online that now is my full-time income.
